Dr. Joseph Jacobs
Welcome to Jacobs Psychological Services. Dr. Jacobs, a licensed psychologist (PSY33549) and board-certified behavior analyst (BACB 1-14-4740), is committed to providing specialized care through comprehensive psychological and neurodevelopmental testing, particularly for evaluating autism and ADHD. He also focuses on treating autism, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and depression. With a wealth of experience and knowledge, Dr. Jacobs delivers individualized care to help individuals and families manage these challenges effectively.
Dr. Jacobs believes in the power of personalized, compassionate care. He works closely with each client to understand their unique strengths and needs. By fostering adaptive skills and building on these strengths, he aims to help clients achieve greater satisfaction and well-being.
In addition to psychological testing and therapy, Dr. Jacobs has extensive experience developing and supervising Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs in home and school settings. Hello, my name is Tash. I’m originally from the Bay Area and moved to Los Angeles in 2007. I spent eight years teaching preschool, during which I earned my Master’s in Early Education. In 2024, I transitioned from classroom teaching to become a Registered Behavioral Technician. I discovered the power of applied behavior analysis in helping children meet their developmental milestones, which inspired my career shift.
I’m passionate about working one-on-one with children and collaborating with a dedicated team to focus on each child’s unique needs. It’s wonderful to watch them grow, thrive, and achieve their goals!
